CBSE holds Classroom Management Workshop in Doon Valley

The two days Workshop on Classroom Management which was organized in our institution on 17th & 18th November 2017 threw light on various facets of Classroom Management and made the teachers to understand the importance of adopting different classroom approaches to transact effectively in multiple situations. The CBSE trained Resource Persons involved the teacher-participants actively in discussions, activities, interactions and made the teachers to work in groups of 6-8 members on aspects related to Classroom Management, Instructional Management, Intelligent Process Management, Life-skills,  Attitudes & Values, Gender Sensitivity, Moral responsibility, Psychological impact, Multiple learning techniques, Time Management, Behaviourial Management, Individual learning, Group learning, Evaluation Techniques, Problem Solving Methods, Aptitude & Interest Creation, Developing Learning Curve, etc. As teaching is a process of continuous learning, the workshop will have definitely given an insight to all the trainees to work on their limitations apart from helping them to strengthen their areas of understanding. I strongly feel that such capacity building programmes have to be conducted from time to time in order to update and orient the teachers so that they, in turn, create a conducive classroom learning environment where every student enthusiastically participates in the process of learning and grooms his/her personality by working on his/her potential. Mrs. Aruna Bhardwaj & Mrs. Upma Mahajan – the Resource Persons with their rich experience conducted the workshop in a very effective manner. They emphasized the need to understand every student’s requirement by observing each and every student’s behaviour pattern and then devise a classroom strategy to support the academic and emotional learning of students so that learning can become effective, efficient and meaningful.
