Doon Valley Hosts Maiden CBSE National Meet

Doon Valley Public School, Nalagarh will be the first CBSE School in Nalagarh and Baddi regions to host a CBSE National Sports Event. It is a golden moment in the history of the school to hold the seventh edition of National Rope-Skipping Event from 27th to 29th October 2017. 600 students from various CBSE schools of the country will be participating in this prestigious meet. The Event is divided into two age categories – Under 14 and Under 19 (Boys & Girls). The students will be participating in individual and team championships. Dr. Biswajit Saha, Additional Director of Vocational Cell, CBSE, New Delhi who is also holding the additional charge of Academics, Research, Training and Innovation (ART-I) will be inaugurating the event on 27th October 2017 in Doon Premises. Mr. Pushkar Vohra, Joint Director, CBSE – Panchkula will be the Guest of Honour. The Chairman of the institution Mr. Rajeev Sharma feels greatly privileged to host a spectacular event where students from all parts of the country are going to participate and vie for top honours. The staff and the students are eagerly waiting for this memorable sojourn.
